Many famous UFC stars have had their troubles with the law. Tony Ferguson, the former interim UFC lightweight champion, is definitely one of them. The UFC star has not had it very easy in his life when it comes to abiding by the law. It seems like the 39-year-old has found himself in trouble yet again.

When the law enforcements arrived, Ferguson denied to take the sobriety test, the involved officers told TMZ. They also reported that the MMA fighter was “very uncooperative” after the accident.

The owner of one of the cars Ferguson allegedly hit was the rapper Cash Gotti. Gotti came out of the club to find his Mercedes destroyed by the impact of ‘El Cucuy’s truck. This has certainly added to Ferguson’s problems, as the UFC fighter is clearly not having his best time inside the octagon too.

Unfortunately, Ferguson is not the only fighter who has been arrested for the charge of driving under the influence. In 2012, the UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones was arrested on suspicion of DUI of alcohol in Binghamton, New York. This was after his car struck a pole in a one-car accident. He was also arrested for the same charge in 2020.
On July 31, 2022, former UFC welterweight Darren Till was also arrested for the same crime. He was pulled over for speeding, and he looked “noticeably intoxicated”. Upon testing, Till was found to be drunk three times above the legal limit.
