Khabib Nurmagomedov just dropped a major update on his upcoming documentary. The Russian fighter has the MMA world excited with his latest announcement, as the fans will get to know the man from Dagestan better. The former UFC champion first teased the documentary way back in 2021. Since then, sporadic updates have seized the headlines, but nothing concrete come out. However, it appears the wait is about to end.
The 34-year-old fighter recently informed UFC President Dana White that he was working with the UFC for his documentary. “It’s going to be one of the best documentaries,” he told the UFC lynchpin. While this announcement turned some heads, his bitter rival, Conor McGregor, had an amusing response. Unfazed by the reply, the former lightweight champion has now dropped a concrete date for his much-awaited documentary.

In the conversation with White, the former UFC fighter disclosed that he was running on a tight schedule. The engagements for the project would also keep him busy this year. Moreover, Nurmagomedov once told RT Sports’ Magomed Ismailov that he was cooperating with people from Hollywood.
He also harbors ambitions of bagging an Academy Award for the documentary. The plan was to release it in movie theaters. The story of a young man from the mountains becoming the best P4P fighter and bowing out undefeated is a recipe for success. However, it appears the documentaries are the latest trend in UFC town.
