Conor McGregor has taken a dig at Khabib, tweeting a photo of Khabib Nurmagomedov from the infamous bus incident, which took place after UFC 223 media day.
Conor tweeted the photo in response to a story put up by Khabib on his Instagram. Nurmagomedov recently posted a photo of Conor in his story with a text saying, “Where is my medal from Bastrykin? I was also beaten by Dagestanis in a crowd.”
Khabib in the text was referring to an incident that took place in Russia. A group of Dagestanis beat a Russian guy who stood up for a girl in the Moscow metro. A committee in Russia presented the man with the valor and courage medal.

‘The Notorious’ in response to the post by ‘The Eagle’ tweeted a photo from the Brooklyn bus attack. The incident took place after Khabib slapped Conor’s friend Artem Lobov. This lead to Conor ambushing the bus Khabib was in. Conor threw a dolly at the bus, which injured several people inside.
Conor in the tweet wrote, “Bastrykin! Where is Khabib’s “shit in his pants medal”? He need this for shit his pants 10 rows back.”

Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov – The Rivalry
Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov fought each other at UFC 229. In the buildup to the fight, both fighters said a lot of things, mostly Conor. Conor said things about Khabib’s manager, his religion, which made the rivalry even more intense.
The two fighters met in the octagon at UFC 229, and Khabib came out on top. He beat McGregor via submission in the fourth round. Things from there only escalated, as, after the fight, Khabib jumped out of the cage and attacked Conor’s teammate Dillon Danis. After that, a few of Khabib’s teammates entered the octagon to attack Conor.

The rivalry doesn’t seem to have died down even after over three years since the fight. The two are constantly seen taking a dig at each other, and this incident is the latest in the book.
