But it seems like things won’t go as smoothly as planned. The UFC has just announced that the press conference for the fight has been postponed.

The fight between ‘Mystic Mac’ and ‘Iron’ had the entire realm of mixed martial arts in high entropy. But as the news about the postponement of the press conference broke through the internet, the fighting community was indeed left in utter disbelief. But what was the notice all about? The return of ‘The Notorious’ has witnessed yet another development. Not too long ago, the Irish mixed martial artist came under severe public scrutiny after he was seen dancing and partying late at night with his fiance, Dee Devlin. However, this time, things have tilted a bit more towards disappointment for the fight fans. 

The mixed martial arts promotion announced that the press conference for the McGregor versus Chandler, which was supposed to be held in Dublin, has been postponed until further notice. The tweet read, “The #UFC303 press conference scheduled for Monday June 3rd in Dublin, Ireland at 3Arena has been postponed until further notice. We sincerely apologize to all the fans who were planning to attend. When we have further information on a new date and time, we will share it immediately.”

The actual reason why the UFC decided to postpone the press conference is still unknown. No details whatsoever have been provided. To add on top to the high anticipation, the date to which the press conference has shifted to is unclear.

Without a doubt, the fighting community went ahead and began making speculations about the title fight scheduled for UFC 303. It was going to be McGregor’s first fight in three years as he was just about to make a comeback. But his recent acts at his club had raised suspicions in the fans’ minds already.

‘The Notorious’ receives backlash from MMA fans for partying late

McGregor recently faced a lot of heat from the fans. The fighter was caught dancing and vibing, with bottles of alcohol at the ‘Black Forge Inn’. Without a doubt, the fight fans asked him to focus more on training for the fight against Chandler. But it was to no avail.

On the JRE MMA Show, Joe Rogan and Craig Jones had a talk about it. Rogan pointed out at McGregor as a party animal who loved to enjoy himself at clubs with drinks in his hands. But the grappling sensation believed that it was all a strategy to confuse his opponents. He guessed, “it’s mind games though maybe?” But soon after that, McGregor replied that fighting was in his blood.

The Irish fighter last fought Dustin Poirier, but got injured with a gruesome leg break. He took some time off to heal. But being the man that he is, he simply couldn’t stay still. He co-starred with Jake Gyllenhaal on the remake of the movie ‘Roadhouse’, and coached against Chandler at TUF 31. But his return to the UFC was greatly anticipated by the entire fighting community.
