Conor McGregor has been out of the ring for over two years, healing from a broken leg he suffered in a loss against Dustin Poirier. Over this time, McGregor has earned a lot of criticism. His perceived inactivity, allegations of PED use, punching the Atlanta Hawks’ mascot, and alleged sexual misconduct have earned him a lot of detractors.

It seemed another item could be added to his list of off-court impropriety, that too, at his aunt’s funeral. But, it seems the allegations may be baseless, after all.

The Saddle Club statement about the alleged McGregor pub brawl

The Saddle Club came out with a statement of its own to clarify what happened. The statement started by acknowledging that ‘Notorious’ and his security were present at the club on the evening in question. But, the club insists that McGregor’s conduct throughout the evening was polite, courteous, and gentlemanly. The club stated that at some point, McGregor got upset due to the conduct of some of the other guests, but chose to leave the venue, contrary to rumors about a fight.
