She will be the first female division fighter to grace the cover of a UFC game since Ronda Rousey. She will share the cover alongside Alexander Volkanovski.

According to the initial reports from Insider Gaming, it was teased that Shevchenko would be featured on the cover alongside Alexander Volkanovski. The news was later confirmed and verified when the Women’s MMA Ranking Twitter handle shared the news, thus solidifying the claim.

The Women’s MMA Ranking Twitter handle recently announced that Valentina Shevchenko will grace the cover of EA Sports UFC 5, making her the first woman to do so since Ronda Rousey. She will share the spotlight with Alexander Volkanovski. She will be the first woman to grace the cover of a UFC game since UFC 2.

Insider Gaming has initially reported that EA Sports UFC 5 will officially debut on October 27th this year on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles. The upcoming edition will feature the beloved Australian icon, Volkanovski, and the former sovereign of the flyweight realm, Shevchenko, as its chosen cover stars.

By the inaugural announcement, individuals opting to pre-order the forthcoming video game will be rewarded pre-order bonuses in the guise of in-game characters. These will encompass the former Boxing world champion, Mike Tyson, alongside the posthumously celebrated Muhammad Ali. Remarkably and for the first instance within a UFC-licenced title, the ex-Pride FC champion, Fedor Emelianenko, will also be included in players.
