After Joe Rogan made the claim that Jon Jones was indeed a better fighter than Tyson Fury, the world of MMA and boxing began clashing. Fury and ‘Bones’ went after each other on the internet for the title of ‘the baddest man on the planet’. However, ‘Bones’ simply refused to land in the squared ring against Fury. Instead, he put forth the challenge to fight inside the Octagon.

At the post-fight press conference for UFC Vegas 74, Dana White offered the heavyweight boxer to compete against Jones inside the cage. The UFC president seemed skeptical of the boxers who wanted the MMA fighters to fight them inside the squared ring. Nevertheless, he claimed that if Fury wanted to find out who the baddest man on the planet was, he would make the fight happen in the UFC.

With the heat between ‘The Gypsy King’ and Jones rising, White made a bold move while trying to come to the conclusion of who the baddest man on the planet was. At the UFC Vegas 74 press conference, the UFC boss offered an MMA fight for Fury.

White initially declared that Jones was indeed the baddest man on the planet, further claiming that there was no doubt about it. But when it came to a boxing ring, the throne allowed only ‘The Gypsy King’ to sit upon it. Nevertheless, White was of the mindset that the true baddest man on the planet would be the victor after the two fought in MMA. He said that if Fury wanted to fight the UFC heavyweight champion, the offer was up. He also claimed that he got Floyd Mayweather to fight Conor McGregor. Hence, he could easily make it work.

White said, “If you want to discuss another possible baddest man on the planet, it would be Tyson Fury, okay, in a boxing arena. And we all know that if Jon Jones boxed Tyson Fury, Tyson Fury wins. All these boxing guys want to, want to talk about this and they want to keep it in the ring. I’m telling Tyson Fury, whom I respect very much, if you really want to find out who the baddest man in the planet is, I will make that fight. I will make Jon Jones versus Tyson Fury in the Octagon. And you know, we’ll figure out. We figured out how to pay Floyd. We’ll figure out how to pay you too, Tyson. So, the offer is out there.”

Nevertheless, the fight’s chances of materializing are low according to this popular ex-UFC fighter.
