Rumors of Jake Paul fighting Mike Perry have begun circulating throughout the internet. Although the former UFC welterweight previously accused the YouTuber turned professional boxer of turning away from the negotiations, he opened up in front of the world, admitting that he desired to fight ‘The Problem Child’. However, things don’t go as planned. While Perry believed the fight would be interesting, the fans didn’t seem to have a different opinion.

The former UFC contender has made a name for himself by defeating Michael Page. Without a doubt, the fans believe that Paul’s fight against someone who defeated MVP would indeed be a tough game.

Fans opine to Mike Perry’s interest in going against Jake Paul

Perry revealed that he still wished to fight ‘The Problem Child’. However, whether the war between the two will ever happen is nothing close to being a surety. Furthermore, he believed that it would be an interesting match to see. Perry said, “I sparred him once, and I think it would be a great boxing match. I can’t lie, I’m a bare knuckle boxer, and I like to punch without anything, but with the gloves on I feel like I hit harder, and i think it would be interesting to see what I could do.”

Without a doubt, the fans took to the comments section and revealed what they thought about Perry’s words. Undeniably, many of the fans believed that the bare-knuckle boxer was a perfect match for Paul. Furthermore, some of the fans pointed out how difficult it would be for Paul to stand against someone who defeated MVP. Nonetheless, almost everyone agreed that the fight would be an interesting one indeed.

Mike Perry revealed Jake Paul’s withdrawal

The middleweight bare-knuckle boxer took to Twitter to share his displeasure as Paul turned his back on the negotiations. Perry wrote, “I signed the contract to fight @jakepaul but he changed his mind.” The 31-year-old was the probable opponent for Paul to fight next. However, given the current situation, there are no confirmations of whether the fight will happen or not.

Nonetheless, both the fighters have shown interest in going against each other in the ring. But lately, after getting severe backlash from the public for fighting old and retired men, Paul decided to fight younger fighters next.
