BKFC founder finally responds to Conor McGregor vs. Mike Perry battle

Mike Perry gave his all at the Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida, USA on July 20 as he came toe-to-toe against the bigger and stronger Jake Paul. Despite his experience, Paul made sure that he clinched the victory as the benefit of size and reach was with him. Before his defeat against Paul, Perry was an undefeated star under the BKFC. He even defeated the likes of Eddie Alvarez and Michael Venom Page.

It would not be wrong to state that Perry was the biggest star that BKFC has produced till now. His absence might be acting up for the promotion as even the founder has come forward to support the fighter on his comeback, “Mike has to get back in there now and make everybody erase that fight with Jake Paul because right now that’s in people’s minds, and people didn’t like it. They want to see him back in bare-knuckle and have a devastating win again,” said David Feldman in an exclusive with BloodyElbow.

He further added, “He needs to do that and we’re looking to put him in the ring in January against a marquee name. If he wins that fight, I think he’s back. He’ll make people understand that this is a different sport, and he’s great at bare-knuckle fighting, but not necessarily good at boxing. This is his sport. I didn’t want him to go outside of this sport, because it’s just a different sport. It doesn’t mean you can’t fight. It means you’re a great bare-knuckle fighter. It’s just that this is his lane. He should have stayed in his lane. And he’s coming back to his lane in January.”

January appears to be the month when Mike Perry makes his comeback to the BKFC arena once again. Interestingly, Conor McGregor has also changed his tune after BKFC Spain, stating he has some fights in mind for Perry. Well, what do you make of all this noise?
