One name in the dark alleyways of the UFC is revered among his opponents for his fighting masterclass. It’s none other than Khamzat Chimaev. The undefeated Chechen has been one of the biggest stars of the UFC in recent times. His staunch winning streak has contributed a lot to this stardom of Chimaev.

With a clean record of 13-0, Chimaev is ready to rumble against the former middleweight champ, Robert Whittaker, at UFC’s debut in Saudi Arabia. However, ahead of Chimaev’s clash against Whittaker, ‘Borz’ has found support and a new opponent in the shape of Bo Nickal. The American wrestler and UFC fighters seem to be willing to face the emeriti. Interestingly, WWE star, CM Punk also anticipates a clash between the two wrestlers.

Bo Nickal sees motivation and opponent in Khamzat Chimaev

UFC 300 is around the corner and Bo Nickal seems to be ready to face his opponent, Cody Brundage. Nickal is riding a 4 fight-winning streak in the UFC and the State College, Pennsylvania native seems to be in a mood to keep his winning streak intact and face Khamztat Chimaev in the future. In a conversation with ‘ESPN’, Nickal asserted that he would love to face Chimaev this year.

When asked about his opinion and intention about Khamzat Chimaev, Nickal asserted that he keeps ‘Borz’ in very high regard considering his unblemished record in the Octagon. ” It would be amazing! First off, that’s something that, um, you mentioned visualization as well. Like, that’s something that I visualize and that I’m excited about, something that really, you know, gets me motivated. And so, I think there is a lot that needs to happen,”  said Nickal.

When the host questioned Nickal’s preference in Chimaev’s next fight against Robert Whittaker, the State College, Pennsylvania native asserted that he would like to see ‘Borz’ win and keep his winning record. “Part of me… part of me does hope that he stays undefeated” 

Nickal vs. Chimaev might be a far-fetched idea, but it is not that impossible. According to CM Punk, the fight between the wrestlers is not that impossible.

CM Punk has an idea for the UC Saudi Arabia

The match between two wrestlers from two different continents might sound interesting because the USA and Russia share a very extensive rivalry with each other. The talk about the Bo Nickal vs. Khamzat Chimaev fight was teased by the WWE star, CM Punk.

When having a conversation about combat sports, Punk stated “I immediately think, well, who’s the middleweight champion? Okay, what’s the next middleweight title fight? Oh, and there’s a middle fight coming up to decide who the number one contender is. If B. Nichols wins this, I’ll put him, you know, front and center in Saudi Arabia for the number one contender’s fight. Just to spice things up a little bit.”
