Can Ryan Garcia make a successful transition to the UFC with Bo Nickal in his corner?

Ryan Garcia was pretty serious when he said that he wanted to fight in the UFC. The young and talented boxer, unfortunately, cannot step into the ring for a year. He is currently serving a one-year suspension from the New York State Athletic Commission after testing positive for a performance-enhancing drug named Ostarine. There was a second testing round after he denied the allegations but the second test came positive as well.

Even Garcia’s victory over Devin Haney was overturned to a no-contest. However, the 25-year-old is not letting his spirits down and is trying his hands into new types of combat. He was recently seen trying out wrestling and even got a shoutout of help from a three-time NCAA Division national champion.

After his ban from boxing for one year, Ryan Garcia tweeted that he was making a move to the UFC. He even talked about trying his hand at something new and even contacting Dana White to make his UFC dreams come true.

‘King Ry’ is getting used to wrestling and was recently seen practicing the art. The 25-year-old tweeted, “ I’m trying wrestling just need a coach.” Bo Nickal was quick to reply to that, as he offered his help saying, “I gotchu bro.”

Fans commenting on the video seemed pretty excited about the possibility. One fan even called for Garcia to make a debut on the contender series which could give him a straight path into UFC. Another fan advised him to train with Khabib Nurmagomedov’s team.

Garcia has branded himself as a “natural wrestler” and implied that he could defeat the likes of Sean O Malley. He is also helping his younger brother Sean as a trainer.

On July 7th, Sean was defeated by Amado Vargas and it is now being reported that the elder brother has taken up his training. Garcia announced his new role as the trainer on social media amid his rehabilitation for alcohol and alleged PED abuse. He said humorously that he was the head trainer and addressed Vargas directly.

It was reported after Sean’s defeat that his strength and conditioning coach betrayed the Garcia family and decided to train Vargas. There was also a feud with financial compensation which led the coach to call the police on 23-year-old Sean Garcia.

“So my strength and conditioning coach for years, one man I have paid millions of dollars to, just called the police on my brother.” Ryan Garcia revealed. “My brother was just defending himself because of the betrayal,” Garcia added without going into much detail.

Earlier, Ryan came to Sean’s rescue after the latter’s defeat against Vargas. ‘King Ry’ was not happy with his brother’s performance and congratulated Vargas for the win, but he tweeted that he had the capacity to KO Vargas and all his brothers.

Now, he has taken up his brother’s training and is even learning wrestling himself, with the possibility of getting a helping hand from Bo Nickal. Do you think Ryan Garcia will come back stronger and even get his younger brother’s career settled?
