Street Jesus is back at it. Baddest Motherf***** in the game Jorge Masvidal knows how to put fighters back in their place, be that inside or outside the Octagon. In a recent verbal altercation, ‘Gamebred’ tore ‘Iron’ Michael into pieces. The only mistake Chandler made was to call him out. Perhaps that’s all it takes for Masvidal to put you in your place.

Former Bellator lightweight division champion Michael Chandler is still recovering from a gruesome defeat against Dustin Poirier. Even though he wasted no time calling out Jorge Masvidal, challenging him for the BMF title.
Chandler gave his all inside the Octagon against ‘El Diamante’, yet he came up short in the end. With the ‘Diamond’ clenching his neck to grab the victory in the 3rd and final round. Now the American MMA fighter is on the look for his next opponent.
Jorge Masvidal shuts down a BMF title fight claim
‘Gambred’ hasn’t stepped inside the Octagon since his defeat against former interim welterweight champion Colby Covington at UFC 272 back in March. Furthermore, Masvidal’s next opponent isn’t decided yet, with rumors linking him to a fight against Gilbert Burns.
In a recent interview with MMA Fighting, he called Michael Chandler a “Quitter”. He recalled Chandler’s Bellator bout against Will Brooks, where he seemingly quit in between the fight.

He said, “BMF my a**. That’s the first rule of being a BMF — you can’t be a quitter. You might lose, but you can’t give up on yourself. You can’t quit. That conversation for the BMF belt? No, it ain’t happening. C’mon Chandler: I know you don’t have a good perception of the world, but that’s not happening.”
Perhaps a fight against Chandler would make sense, but Masvidal has his eyes set on the Welterweight belt. Thus, he isn’t interested in defending his BMF belt just yet. In addition, he also has started his venture in iKon FC MMA promotion.
