The UFC CEO further emphasized that the only reason he is remotely involved in this thing is because of his dear friend Donald Trump, “The only reason I’m even remotely involved in this is because of the relationship that I have with this man and what a good guy he is.”

While appreciating the work of his friend, Dana White explained that Donald Trump is the real ‘BMF’ that the world needs right now, “Think about it: we want to talk about relentless. Doubling down on his own words, the UFC CEO explained that he has asked Trump to enjoy the rest of his life rather than involve himself in the political race. However, he emphasized that Trump is participating solely because he loves his country deeply. “This guy’s a friend of mine. I consider him a very, very good friend of mine. I tell him all the time, ‘Why are you doing this? Go sit on a boat somewhere and do something fun, man. Why would you even want to be in it?’ Because he loves this country. That’s why he’s so hardcore about loving this country. And I mean that. I wouldn’t say it; I don’t give a s–t  other than being his friend.”

Donald Trump called Dana White in the middle of the night for a rant

During a recent outing with the Nelk boys on his private jet, Donald Trump took out his phone and rang the UFC CEO Dana White. To everyone’s surprise, the UFC CEO picked up the phone in one ring. The former US president explained the entire situation to the UFC CEO and expressed his utmost excitement to witness Jon Jones return to the Octagon.

“When is your next fight, please?” Trump asked the UFC CEO. Well, before Dana White could answer the question, someone away from the camera replied that UFC 308 in Abu Dhabi this weekend, it’s Jones against Stipe Miocic at UFC 309 next month. “We need a little entertainment here,” said Trump as he laughed about the situation.

In addition to that, the former US President called out boxing for being slow, “For the first time in about ten years I watched boxing. When you get used to the other stuff, it’s very slow, not the same thing… Dana, you’re the greatest of all time. We wanted to call you and break your choppers.”
