“You’re the most unreliable human being.” UFC 155lbs contender Michael Chandler accused and took aim at Conor McGregor—the man ‘Iron’ has spent nearly two years waiting for in hopes of securing a big-money fight. Once synonymous with the phrase “red panty night,” many now regard the Irishman as one of the most unreliable athletes in combat sports. Even Dana White has found him notoriously difficult to work with and is unsure if the former double champ will ever step back inside the Octagon or not. But this is not something new!

From his infamous bus attack at UFC 223’s media day—often called the “darkest press conference” in UFC history—to the post-fight brawl at UFC 229, McGregor’s actions have repeatedly made headlines. Yet, despite all the chaos, the Irishman stock outside the cage has been soaring high. Now, ‘The Notorious’ is making waves as the co-owner of BKFC—a move that many believe cements his status as a master businessman.

While it’s well known that McGregor holds “needle-moving” equity in BKFC, the real story of how he became involved remained a mystery—until now. Recently, BKFC President David Feldman appeared on Tim Welch’s YouTube podcast, where Sean O’Malley’s coach asked him a burning question: “I can’t imagine what it was like structuring a deal with someone like Conor.” Surprisingly, Feldman refuted the narrative that the Irishman is difficult to work with, stating that the deal “wasn’t that hard.”

The BKFC president went on to praise Conor McGregor’s business acumen and concluded. “He came to a fight and was like, ‘This is the best thing I’ve ever seen.’ Then he sponsored us. He just kept coming to the shows, and I was like, ‘Why don’t you just invest?’ He’s the best salesman I’ve ever met in my life—what a consummate professional. He studies it and knows what he’s talking about. He’s a loyal guy…He’s promoted this company like no one else I could imagine.”

Mystic Mac’s future in the UFC appears more uncertain than ever, as White seems increasingly fatigued by the never-ending speculation surrounding his return. Initially rumored for early 2025, then pushed to the fall, the timeline for McGregor’s comeback keeps shifting. Last month, when pressed yet again for an update, a visibly frustrated White finally dismissed the speculation with a short but telling response: “Not sure.”

Despite the uncertainty surrounding his fighting career, the Irishman continues to receive backing from Dana White & Co., especially as he pursues new ventures—including his latest political ambitions.

Team Dana White has approved Conor McGregor’s next political move

After dominating the Octagon and achieving success in business, Conor McGregor is now turning his focus to politics, ready to use his hands not for fighting, but for pushing through new legislation. And no, this isn’t a joke! This week, the Irishman who has expressed dissatisfaction with Ireland’s ruling party due to rising crime rates and immigration tensions is now calling for fewer restrictions and stricter regulations. As a result, his stance has made him a vocal critic of Taoiseach Micheal Martin and other members of the Dail. Conor McGregor wasted no time beginning his political push by meeting with President Donald Trump this week.

He then declared, “The next presidential election must take place by November 11, 2025. Who else will stand up to the Government and oppose this bill? Any other candidate they put forward will offer no resistance to them. I will.” The Irishman’s new political move recently received approval from UFC senior VP Dave Shaw at UFC London.

Shaw, weighing in on Conor McGregor’s latest venture, stated, “I think he’d do a great job. He seems very passionate; he delivered a powerful speech at the White House. He’s raised important issues, and we’ll see what happens… He’s pushing for true democracy, so let’s see how the people respond.”
