Ryan expressed his excitement for the new season of TUF, which features Conor McGregor and Michael Chandler as coaches. He also shared his thoughts on potentially being a part of the coaching setup for the show.

During the interview, Ryan opened up about his experience rolling with Thor Bjornsson, also known as ‘The Mountain’ from Game of Thrones. In addition, he shared his thoughts on Dillon Danis, whom he has had a close fight with in the past. Ryan expressed his desire for a rematch with Danis, but unfortunately, Danis wasn’t willing to give him one. Moreover, recently he talks about how Ju-Jitsu is inferior to Sambo for MMA.

Brendan Schaub discussed Gordon Ryan’s vision for TUF season 31 during the interview. As a TUF alumni himself, Schaub believes that the show has fallen off. However, he also believed that Conor McGregor and Michael Chandler will bring life back to the show. Furthermore, Schaub thinks that if Ryan is in the mix, it will add even more excitement to the show.

He said, “But for sure. Yeah, I’d have to just move around some competition schedules. But if I if you have the opportunity to coach with Chandler and McGregor on Ultimate fighter that’s a big opportunity. I’ll Definitely do it.

Ryan has proposed a plan to coach Michael Chandler, while Dillon Danis coaches Conor McGregor. Following the fight, Ryan has proposed to fight Dillon Danis on UFC Fight Pass. However, Ryan is skeptical that Danis will show up for the fight. Thus, it remains unclear whether the matchup will actually take place.

Brendan Schaub believes Ryan will boost TUF 31 ratings

According to Schaub, Ryan’s involvement in TUF will add to the hype of the show, which has struggled in recent seasons. With McGregor and Chandler already confirmed for the show, Schaub believes that it will be a great opportunity for Ryan to tell his story and inspire upcoming MMA fighters.

He said, ‘So the amount of views and like what you’re doing for Jiu-Jitsu. Like you have the greatest of all time doing the damn thing and he’s a coach on here and they tell your story. I think it’d be great yeah and all the kids on the show know who the hell you are.

As one of the greatest Jiu-Jitsu practitioners, having Ryan on the show will not only help boost its ratings, but it will also allow UFC to highlight his success in the sport. Additionally, there are rumors that fighters who missed out on UFC contracts in previous TUF seasons may also be featured in TUF 31, giving them another chance to prove themselves and potentially earn a spot in the UFC.
