BJ Penn Replies to Conor McGregor’s Wholesome Message to His “Coach’s Favorite Fighter”

Conor McGregor is a UFC legend. He is probably the favorite fighter for most MMA watchers, as ‘The Notorious’ never fails to amaze the audience. However, his coach has a different opinion. Conor McGregor has revealed that it is not him, but another lightweight legend who made the top of his coach’s favorite list. Moreover, he even revealed that his team used to ‘study’ this lightweight legend for their fights. It is interesting for the fans to see ‘Mystic Mac’ praise another fighter as he wishes BJ Penn on his birthday.

‘The Notorious’ defeated Eddie Alvarez to become a double champion. He has since gone on to lose against Khabib Nurmagomedov and Dustin Poirier (twice) at 155 pounds. However, his stardom remains the same.

My coach’s favorite fighter, all time. We studied.” McGregor also replied to an earlier tweet featuring BJ Penn against Joe Stevenson.

BJ Penn replied with a heartfelt message of his own to McGregor. Just like the fans, the former lightweight champion is looking forward to seeing ‘The Notorious’ in action.
