The Johnny Depp-Amber Heard trial has caught the entire world’s attention. And like many, the ever-aware MMA community was ready to roll their Twitter fingers, getting involved in the ongoing fiasco. Chiefly, with two of the bigger Hollywood stars involved.

Many big-name MMA fighters have reacted to the matter so far. Former UFC vet & MMA world champion, in multiple promotions, Ben Askren reacted to the news of Johnny Depp suggesting he found human fecal matter on his bed which the Aquaman actress depicted as ‘a horrible practical joke gone wrong.’

Funky‘ had a question for his massive audience as he tweeted, “How hot would your wife have to be so that you didn’t divorce her for pooping in your bed? #amberturd”

Even former Strikeforce middleweight champion Jake Shields had reacted to the news, as he had involved the Tesla and SpaceX head and the man to recently buy out Twitter, Elon Musk, in the Depp-Heard saga. Important to note that Musk was once in a relationship with Amber Heard in the past.

Fans answer Ben Askren’s question about Amber Heard

Askren’s question had some stirring replies from his fans, as many submitted Amber Heard as the answer to his question.

Also, many fans had their scales out for marking Askren’s question and gave their analysis of the same.

Whereas many looked deeper into the issue and suggested it would be acceptable in certain scenarios.

Anyhow, Askren is known for his witty personality and often has a rather humorous approach towards things. On the business end, the former UFC welterweight had a short but entertaining career in the UFC with his amazing work on the microphone and thrilling fights inside the Octagon.

Ben Askren’s journey in the UFC

Askren’s long-awaited debut in the UFC came against ‘The Ruthless’ Robbie Lawler. The bout had a great build as UFC commentator Joe Rogan in the past had contributed a lot to building Askren’s name, as one of the elite fighters, among the UFC fans.

The UFC even recognized Askren’s past accomplishments and put him against a former divisional champion. With all the hype around Askren’s debut, it didn’t disappoint. A one-rounder classic bout saw Askren survive an early flurry from Lawler and secure a controversial submission win.

In his second bout in the promotion, Askren got matched against Jorge Masvidal. The bout is one of the most replayed bouts in UFC and needs no detailing. Masvidal became a star with a historic 5-second flying knee win.

His final bout in the UFC saw him go up against a pure grappler in Demian Maia. In a thrilling bout, Askren chose his downfall when he decided to take down the submission specialist and lost the bout via a rare naked choke (RNC).
