Welterweight fighter Belal Muhammad has been all over the news ever since his recent victory over Stephen Thompson at UFC Vegas 45. The fighter absolutely outclassed the elite kickboxer and won the fight by unanimous decision. Ever since his win, Muhammad has been active on Twitter and has been appearing on interviews, in attempts to push for a title shot.
Recently, ‘Remember the Name’ took a dig at the king of trash talking, Conor McGregor on his Twitter. The Irishman posted a picture of himself from seven years ago on Twitter. He captioned it,” 7 years ago. Still here rocking championship weight.”
In the picture, McGregor was a featherweight, and the tweet claimed that he still was. However, he looks far bulkier than any featherweight right now.

Belal retweeted the post that the former double champion made and wrote,” Stop lying.” The fighter also posted an edited picture of a chubbier Conor McGregor to add to the banter.
It is clear that Belal Muhammad does not share a very pleasant relationship with the Irishman. Conor McGregor had also taken a shot at Belal Muhammad months ago when he posted a video of himself laughing hysterically at his television, which showed Muhammad as an anchor on ESPN.
Conor broke the internet after posting the video on his social media. He said,” get this off my telly now!”

After his win over ‘Wonderboy’ at UFC Vegas 45, Muhammad’s rank in the welterweight division has gone up to the fifth position. The fighter was taking digs at Colby Covington after his win, in an attempt to land a bout with him. However, Covington has been booked to take on Jorge Masvidal at UFC 272.
Now Belal is targeting the Swedish sensation, Khamzat Chimaev, for his next bout. He has been promoting to bout on his Twitter account as well, however, there has been no official word from the UFC.
