It’s no secret by now that Conor McGregor is doing everything apart from giving us a fight date for his Octagon return. Be it his Greenback Records music label ventures, BKFC co-promoting, or even his Forged Irish Stout business—’Mystic Mac’ is everywhere, except in the Octagon. In the latest, ‘The Notorious’ also plans to meet none other than President Donald Trump soon!
Ahead of his meeting with the POTUS, he seemed pretty excited about his stout business getting a shoutout from famous digital creator and bartending expert Adam Rigby. As St Patrick’s Day is here, the famous internet personality decided to taste test 4 popular Stouts, and guess what? Forged Irish Stout beat Guinness by receiving 5 stars!
Naturally, McGregor shared the video on his Instagram story and wrote, “Forged Stout The World’s Creamiest Stout! Wins taste test with top marks!” Yes, you read that right. The same beer brand owned by McGregor that was dropped by pub companies like Windmill Taverns after ‘Mystic Mac’ faced a civil lawsuit against lost the case against Nikita Hand, has yet again surpassed its number one competitor Guinness.

For his Forged Irish Stout, ‘Mystic Mac’ collaborated with Maksud Agadjani, popularly known as TraxNYC. The duo came up with an idea to increase sales and rescue the business from huge losses. The duo decided to attach an ounce of gold in a coin form, to the bottom of one of the cans of McGregor’s stout. To make the game more interesting Agadjani rearranged all the cans in the boxes. TraxNYC wrote, “An ounce and a pint 🍺 out here in Dublin with @forgedirishstout @thenotoriousmma @coachowenroddy. Thanks for an amazing business adventure 🤝.”

On the other hand, Guinness was going through a giant slump because of a huge shortage in December 2024 due to massive consumer demand. This is also when McGregor advertised his drink and wrote, “@forgedirishstout IS WAY TASTIER AND WAY CREAMIER! #RealIrishStout” on his Instagram story. But this is not the only gain that the former dual-weight champion has got. He is ready to receive the biggest boost from the most powerful man in the world.
Conor McGregor to have a conversation with Donald Trump
Trump’s relationship with the UFC and Dana White goes back all the way to 2001. The POTUS is a big fan of the fight game and fighters, so naturally, Conor McGregor is on his radar. President Trump invited Irish Prime Minister Micheál Martin to the White House for St Patrick’s Day recently and even met Teachta Dala, an associate of Dáil Éireann. And now Conor McGregor will also have his name among these eminent personalities in line to meet Trump.

Meeting Trump: Is Conor McGregor gearing up for a political career?
Have an interesting take?
In fact, the POTUS said that Conor McGregor is his favorite Irishman. This might also be because McGregor shares a similar ideological rhetoric as the POTUS. ‘The Notorious’ took to his X to post a similar anti-immigrant in Ireland, “Our judiciary needs a full redress! The current system is actively giving leeway to dangerously imported criminals who have inflicted serious life-altering harm upon the citizens of Ireland. It is an absolute travesty! Sentencing should never be reduced for an illegally imported criminal just because prison time in an Irish jail will be “difficult for them”. Our systems need full change!”
This is when the US President chimed in with an invitation to the Oval Office. McGregor’s last Instagram story update was his journey to Washington for the meeting. He wrote, “I land shopping in Washington for the most important meeting of my country’s future. I am beyond ready. The world will hear Ireland’s call.” Is this the beginning of Conor McGregor’s career as a politician? Well, he did mention once that he was interested in running for the post of Ireland’s Prime Minister. Will we ever see that day come? What do you think?
