Conor McGregor once famously said, “I have the greatest job in the world. I get paid loads of cash for beating the cr*p out of people. And I’m very good at it.” And that resonates with a lot of the UFC fighters today such as what Bryce Mitchell talked about in his recent interview. Coming out of a devastating loss against Ilia Topuria, which contributed to being his first upset in the UFC, Mitchell revealed the primary reason to continue doing what he does. And upon spilling beans on that matter, he stated that no other job in the world, a legal job, to be specific, can compare to his profession as a fighter. Furthermore, he offered some strong backing to his claims and expressed his desire to be the next Israel Adesanya. And upon doing so, he also leveled some serious accusations at the pound-for-pound king, Alexander Volkanovski.

Nothing ‘legal’ can give what the UFC gives

During his interview with ESPN MMA, Bryce Mitchell shed light on what pushed him to continue the profession that comes along with potential life-threatening risks. To which the ‘Thug Nasty’ responded by saying that he possesses an ‘extremely natural ability’ to do this and could see himself becoming a world champion one day. Additionally, the 28-year-old feels there’s no other profession in this world that can stack his bank account as heavily as the UFC does.

Mitchell stated, “With MMA, I feel like there’s nothing else that if I just do perfect that and have a good run, I can retire like that. Nothing legal (can do that). Think of something legal… Dude, in two years, would you agree I could have $10 million in my bank and be like the next Israel Adesanya.”

Following that statement, he further sketched out a plan and explained his preferred approach. “Say I knock out Volkanovski cold. Okay? And then go on three fights, knockout three other contenders, I’d beat $10 million in the bank, don’t you think?” saidMitchell.

Having said that, he took a sharp jibe at Alexander Volkanovski. The Arkansas native believes that everything is working out the easy way for the top pound-for-pound fighter.

Bryce Mitchell claims Alexander Volkanovski is getting it easy

‘Thug Nasty’ is certain that he could defeat ‘The Great’ if they square off in the octagon. Because, according to Mitchell, Volkanovski hasn’t faced a real threat yet, which is exactly what he will bring to the table.

Mitchell stated, “I am tired of him talking about there’s no other contenders. He ain’t fighting the toughest motherf***ers… He’s getting the easy fights.” Besides that, ‘Thug Nasty’ challenged ‘The Great’ to compete against him for ‘easy money’.

“His contenders are taking each other out. That’s what’s going on. He’s getting paid a hundred times what I get get paid, to fight f***ers that ain’t even as hard as I’m fighting… Alexander Volkanovski, he want’s to fight easy contenders. *points at himself* Right here, somebody he can just beat up and paid. Hey, come on, buddy. I’m easy money. Come on,” concluded Mitchell.
