Dana White had even dubbed this showdown the most anticipated fight outside the main event, but the judges’ verdict left fans feeling shortchanged.

“I know, and I know you don’t want to talk about it, but it’s got to be Blachowicz. Of course, it has to be. I mean, it ends in a very violent way, doesn’t it? Yeah, it’s my favorite fight on the card. So, yeah, that’s my — that’s not an “if you don’t know” — because you should know. If you follow the sport, you should know that fight’s happening. But that is my favorite fight on the card,” said Dana White as he expressed that Blachowicz and Ulberg would be a looked-after fight at UFC London but what he might not have anticipated is the fact that the judges might hinder the progress of the match.

Despite this, the judges ruled the fight in Ulberg’s favor and a fan is certainly agitated, “Blachowicz was the aggressor. I didn’t see Ulberg do anything to win him 2 rounds. I’m not even convinced he won one round. Bad call.”  Furthermore, another fan expressed that the fight was, “Draw tbh.” Immediately after his victory, Ulberg called out to the UFC management for a title shot, “The longest win streak in the light heavyweight division so the only thing that’s left for me is a title shot and that’s all there is,” Ulberg claimed in his post-fight interview. However, a fan begs to differ, “Carlos isn’t a real title challenger, unimpressive.”
