“At 4:18AM He Was Gone” – Grieving Man, Who Conor McGregor Told His Son to Idolize, Has a Heartbreaking Request After Brother’s Death

There is more to ‘The Notorious’ Conor McGregor than what we see of him. The MMA fandom is all too familiar with his loud, brash, and unfiltered side. But did you know he also takes the time to interact with his fans, especially when his words can make a world of difference?

The older brother of Jesus Sanchez, a Conor McGregor fan who received a heartfelt message from the Irishman once, sadly passed away after battling with a kidney disease for over 5 years. The younger brother had an emotional request for ‘The Notorious’ after his brother’s passing.

The fan’s heartbreaking request for Conor McGregor after tragic loss

Conor McGregor, in the past, sent the fan, Jesus Sanchez, a touching message after finding out his brother was fighting a disease that was chipping away at life. He wrote, “My man! Respect to you Jesus, standing by your brothers side all time! I am going to show my son this and tell him this is how he is to back his brother in life! Respect! Tell your brother I said to stay strong, listen to his doctors, and take it 24hrs at a time. God bless you.”

Unfortunately, the person who was battling the disease passed away on January 3rd, 2024. Sanchez recently tweeted at McGregor, thanking him for the message he sent his older brother when he was fighting the disease and now has a request for his brother’s funeral.

In the tweet, Jesus Sanchez wrote, “Hey!! @TheNotoriousMMA you were always my favorite brothers fighter he fought Kidney disease for over 5yrs he kept fighting Jan 3th at 4:18am he was gone. & If you could send me a warm message it will mean alot I’ll make sure to read it at his funeral @TheNotoriousMMA”

It is still unsure whether McGregor has responded to the fan’s tweet. Despite the Irishman’s brash nature, he has been known for reaching out to the public and fans. One other example of the same would be him praising a Deliveroo driver for a heroic act.

‘The Notorious’ hails Deliveroo driver as a “Hero”

A horrific incident took place in November 2023 in Ireland, where a man stabbed a young girl. A Deliveroo driver, by the name of Caio Benicio, without having a second thought, came to the aid of the girl. This gained the Irishman’s praise and even promised the man to eat freely in his establishment for his entire life.

In the tweet, Conor McGregor, commending the Brazilian man for his bravery, wrote, “The working man is the real hero! Bravo our Brazilian brother in Ireland, working hard, earning a living, and contributing to Irish society! This is it! We love, appreciate and respect you greatly! Thank you so much Caio Benicio! You are forever free to eat at my establishment, @blackforgeinn #Hero”
