Who is the greatest fighter of all time? The question and the debate have both been raging. Daniel Cormier, in a recent interaction with the press, has expressed his views on this matter. The UFC commentator and former fighter has a pro-MMA record of 22-3-0. Cormier recently placed Khabib Nurmagomedov in his list of all-time greatest fighters.
However, Mike Tyson and Conor McGregor didn’t make it to the list.

Daniel Cormier was talking to the press when one of the reporters asked about who was the top fighter of all time on his list to which Daniel Cormier replied by quoting Petr Yan who is a former Bantamweight champion.
He said, “why don’t you make a list on first take? All right Yan said ‘many call Fedor the greatest fighter of all time. Dana thinks that is Jon Jones. If I had to choose between Fedor and Jon Jones, I choose Fedor, but in my opinion, Khabib is the best fighter as of today. I would call Khabib Nurmagomedov one of the greatest fighters.'”
Nurmagomedov retired undefeated after 29 fights. He is now coaching Islam Makhachev and his other teammates. Khabib ruled the octagon throughout his career with his superior grappling skills and a tough chin. He became the Lightweight champion, defeating Conor McGregor at UFC 229.
Khabib Nurmagomedov could have been 40-0
Daniel Cormier further established his views on Khabib Nurmagomedov. He asked the reporters who he thought could have defeated Khabib amongst the current fighters had he not retired. ‘DC’ confidently said that Nurmagomedov could have held the belt for as long as he wanted to.
He said, “he could have held the bill as long as he wanted, he could have went to 40-0 if he wanted to.”
The UFC has had some amazing fighters over the year. Few, however, have displayed the domination that Nurmagomedov has. The way he has incorporated the ground game in his fights gave him a certain edge against all competitors.
