Dillon Danis vs. Logan Paul is one of the greatest fight build-ups in recent history. The amount of interest and hype the fight has generated is a marketing feat in itself. And most of the credit for this goes to Danis.

Game, as they say, recognizes game. And one famous trash-talker, who Tito Ortiz famously claimed, got all his big fights because of his “big mouth” and not his fighting prowess, is a veteran at the hype-a-fight-by-trash-talking-your-opponent game. And he is outraged at Logan Paul and his fiancee Nina Agdal for having “crossed the line” agreeing with Tristan Tate on the topic.

Chael Sonnen agreed with Tristan Tate that the Agdal-Paul-Danis affair has crossed a line. However, for Sonnen and Tate was not Danis’ smear campaign against Agdal, but the lawsuit and legal kerfuffle Paul and his model fiancee had initiated against Danis.

“Tristan [Tate’s] point is that if you want to go out of bounds, or you want to talk about what’s across the line, it’s this. You don’t sue the guy bringing attention to the business. That’s your partner’s… That is out of bounds and Tristan’s completely right… And now you’ve got a thing in the form of a lawsuit that could jeopardize all of that,” Sonnen said.

‘The Bad Guy’ also pointed out that at the beginning of the affair, when Danis started targeting Agdal, Paul had threatened to call off the bout if Danis did not tone down his trolling. Sonnen said that the Bellator fighter might give the same ultimatum to the WWE star and threaten to pull out if Paul and Agdal persist with the lawsuit.

“You have somebody that’s done something that’s out of bounds. Logan told Dillon right when this [Danis’ trolling Agdal] started to stop or I’m not going to box you he told him that. So that same thing should be fair for Dillon to say to Logan you stop or I’m not going to box you and I suspect it will happen,” the UFC commentator said.
