He stated that he enjoys the process of strategically choosing matchups and putting on the biggest events possible. Masvidal also mentioned that he plans to continue promoting fights after he retires from fighting.

“Being a promoter, it’s hectic in itself, but I love it, man. It’s what I’m gonna do when I hang up the gloves.” Masvidal said. “From top to bottom, I had something to do with every match up there, you know. Me and my team went out to strategically chose every match that we thought would get us the best in return,” he added.
