Bobby Green recently took to social media claiming that Arman Tsarukyan and his team at the host hotel attacked him. Tsarukyan later posted the incident on his YouTube channel. In the Video, Tsarukyan and his team were seen surrounding Bobby Green and Tsarukyan later grabbed Green’s throat. And UFC legend, Chael Sonnen has his take on the altercation.

Chael Sonnen is no stranger when it comes to having beef with people. He built his career by being one of the best trash talkers in MMA. One of Sonnen’s most memorable moments was the “I can’t let you get close” clip with Wanderlei Silva. So who else better than Sonnen himself, to give his two cents on the recent scuffle between Bobby Green and Arman Tsarukyan!

‘The American Gangster’ has over a million subscribers on YouTube. And it’s not surprising to see why. The man is just as good of a talker as he is a fighter. Sonnen gave his take on Tsarukyan and his team ganging up on Green in the hotel room. Sonnen stated, “It’s just a very bizarre notion. Let’s say that you’re against me. A person shouldn’t do that, a person should show respect. I hear that word all the time. I mean, that is such a street, gang member term to justify uneducated illegal behavior.”

“The American Gangster” then went on to rant about the attack. Chael stated, “You will never hear that from somebody who is just above literate. And so when you hear these professionals, it bothers me. Because let’s say you take the side against me where a person shouldn’t say that. Let’s just say that if you do that you would stop so much. There would there would be no reason to have a press conference. There would be no reason, if words aren’t a meaningful part of this sport and if going back and building tension and having attention. Respecting and or disrespecting. So what do you do?”

Sonnen concluded by claiming that he does not have any ill feelings towards Tsarukyan but seems quite skeptical of Tsarukyan. He stated, “I don’t wish something bad for Arman here, I don’t. Got a main event coming up, he’s cutting weight, he’s a little bit stressed. I also don’t know what his point was. I don’t know that his point was to come up and build a promo. That I don’t believe, the cameras weren’t around. Turns out somebody had an iPhone around him but I don’t believe that was the point and I don’t have enough information to decide that he wanted to aost (inaudible) Bobby Green. Perhaps he was asking a question. I don’t have enough information to deem that he’s a bad guy.”

Chael Sonnen did make a valid argument when it came to the whole situation. And neither Green nor Tsarukyan has the luxury to beef with each other as they will be fighting against the two high-level lightweights in Jalin Turner and Beneil Dariush. But speaking of beefs, Sonnen himself is currently amidst one, with heated exchanges with Jorge Masvidal.

Chael Sonnen and Jorge Masvidal have currently been going back and forth on social media. It started when ‘Gamebred’ joined the MMA hour and called Sonnen a “Bi***”. Chael Sonnen, being who he is, took no time to call Jorge Masvidal out.

Masvidal is not someone who’s known for his trash-talking. However, Masvidal responded by tweeting, “You juice head, I bet you won’t say this stuff in person. @ChaelSonnen just keep the same energy when you see me.” To which Sonnen clapped back saying,”Since I don’t spend much time in county jails, homeless shelters, methadone centers, or dodgy, unlicensed, outdoor barber-shops, it’s unlikely we’ll see each other in person anytime soon.”
