UFC lightweight contender, Arman Tsarukyan has the opportunity to assert himself into title contention as he takes on the former UFC lightweight champion, Charles Oliveira at the historic UFC 300 event for the no.1 contender spot for the UFC lightweight title. However, there is a person on the fight card whom the young prospect has had some beef with in the past.
Arman Tsarukyan was scheduled to headline the fight card for UFC on ESPN 52, this past December, against Beneil Dariush. However, to everyone’s surprise, the 27-year-old had another confrontation with a fellow lightweight, Bobby Green leading up to the fight against Dariush. Here is what happened between the two.

Leading up to the UFC on ESPN 52 event, Arman Tsarukyan and his team confronted Bobby Green in the lobby of the hotel. In the series of videos posted, we could see that Green and Tsarukyan got involved in an altercation that ended in both parties throwing hands at each other.
The confrontation was allegedly caused after “King” had some negative things to say about the Armenian-Russian fighter. Tsarukyan opened up about what had happened between them at the post-fight press conference after his win against Dariush.
In the interview, Tsarukyan stated, “He was talking s*** about me, I just came and asked him, ‘Bro, don’t talk s*** about me.’ Because where I’m from, you can’t just talk; you’ve got to answer for your words. So that’s why I just wanted to tell him not to talk s*** about me, because if you’re going to talk s***, we’ve got to meet and talk. So he pushed me, I pushed him, and that’s it. Done. Hopefully, I’m not going to see him again in my life.”
“I was super, super happy when his head was bouncing on the canvas.”

Unfortunately for Green, he ended up losing his fight against Jalin Turner at the UFC Fight Night event. Speaking of the same, he said, “I was super, super happy when his head was bouncing on the canvas.” Although it might seem like Tsarukyan still might have some dislike towards Green, he has bigger things to focus on for UFC 300.

Tsarukyan talks about his fight against Charles Oliveira
Unlike his feelings towards Bobby Green, Arman Tsarukyan has great respect for the former lightweight champion and opponent for UFC 300. Despite his respect for Oliveira, he believes that he has the skills needed to finish the former champion dominantly.
During an interview with “The MMA Hour“, Tsarukyan stated, “So I’m excited to fight and everyone who knows MMA is going to watch this fight. We are both complete MMA fighters. But my prediction is a finish in the first round, TKO.”
