The fans of the noted UFC color commentator, Joe Rogan, would have definitely missed his iconic voice at UFC 286. Apart from his connection with the UFC, Rogan is also a seasoned comedian, a former TV host, and one of the most recognizable podcasters in the US. His multi-directional work doesn’t spare him enough time to travel outside the US to take the commentary table in UFC events.

Along with his popularity, Rogan also boasts a reported net worth of $120M. Understandably, the ’55-year-old’ enjoys multiple forms of luxury in his life including expensive cars. But, on a recent episode of his noted podcast, ‘The Joe Rogan Experience’, Rogan derided the idea of successful people buying expensive cars rapidly. His words implied that it was really unnecessary for anyone to buy cars rapidly since the previous one would be in working condition.

Despite boasting a commendable car collection himself, the ‘JRE host’ revealed how he usually chose to use his 2007-bought car for his requirements. He stated, “I have a car that I love. And that’s from 2007. It’s almost a 20 years old. Like you would think that you would need to get another car to enjoy. But you really don’t. Are you a fu**ing race car driver?”

He further moved on to narrate the general perspective of what a successful person might have to listen to if he “rolls around in a 2008 Mercedes”. Rogan took an ironic tone and stated, What is that piece of s*it? What are those stupid fu**ing headlights and an actual key to start the engine? What? Are you turning the key to start the engine? What are you? A peasant? If you’re doing well get a real car”.

His views were also supported by his guest for the episode, popular comedian and actor, Andrew Schulz. He put up a real-life example of the durability of Toyota Land Cruisers, stating, And it’s true when you see what the Taliban uses.”

Some fans might say that Rogan had learned this ‘longevity over frequent purchase’ lesson from his own mistake. The former Fear Factor host boasted an enviable collection of cars. Still, he described how he chooses his 2007-bought car for most of his purposes. This, in turn, made the other cars in his collection almost useless.
