Sean Strickland does not like Andrew Tate. The former UFC middleweight champion has called the social media star “human embodiment of a bag of sh*t” and advised young men against following Tate’s advice. However, it seems, despite this animosity on Strickland’s part, Tate does not hold any ill will towards the fighter and took to Twitter to give him advice that would help him. Or to troll him.

Strickland, who has been quite vocal about his controversial beliefs, and is well known for his motor mouth and violent, maniacal outbursts tweeted yesterday about his “daily struggles” with a little voice in his head telling him to “burn it all down, everything” but that his girlfriend’s presence in his life kept him from doing so.

Andrew Tate replied to Strickland, suggesting that the former champion should find some solace and peace in god. “Go to the mosque brother 🙏,” Tate wrote. Whether he means this sincerely or is trolling Strickland given ‘Tarzan’s recent comments about the religion, however, remains unclear.

Fans, too, will be hoping the politically-incorrect American not self-destruct, at least until he can settle his business with champion Dricus Du Plessis, whom he fought to a razor-thin defeat at UFC 297 in January this year.

Strickland asks Dana White for Du Plessis rematch

Sean Strickland, in perhaps the biggest upset in UFC history, dominated and defeated Israel Adesaya comprehensively over five rounds to become the new UFC middleweight champion at UFC 293 last year. This caused ‘Izzy’ to go on hiatus and the UFC chose Dricus Du Plessis as ‘Tarzan’s first title defense.

After a contentious build-up which saw Strickland threaten to stab ‘Stillknocks’ over comments he made towards his childhood, they battled it out for five rounds with little separating the two after the dust had settled. ‘DDP’ eked through a split decision victory, with many, including Dana White, believing Strickland won. And now, Strickland has called for an immediate rematch given all this and demanded they run back their close fight to “settle it like men”.

In a recent interview with ‘The Schmo’ on YouTube, he made a strong case for it. “Here’s the thing guys. I won. Dana said I won. Rogan said I won. We all know I won. I went to Canada and fought in front of the commies, and they shafted me. Dricus wants it, I want it, win your title like a man my friend. You know you got a gift from god. Let’s run this s**t back, settle it like men,” he said. Do you think Strickland deserves an immediate rematch?
