There is an undeclared war going on between anti-vaccine supporters and vaccine supporters. The stakes have been upped significantly since it started. The winner takes all!
It all started when Joe Rogan sent out a challenge to the well-known vaccination expert Dr. Peter Hotez wherein he asked the vaccine developer to have a debate with Robert F. Kennedy Jr., a known anti-vaccine activist. While the challenge was issued on Joe Rogan’s podcast, where Kennedy Jr. was invited as a guest, it didn’t take long for the debate to spill over to Twitter.
The heat that emanated from Twitter was hot enough to attract the likes of Elon Musk and Mark Cuban. Rogan further offered to donate a sum of $100,000 to the charity if Dr. Hotez agreed to have a public debate. Many other millionaires pitched in and raised the stakes for the debate. As if following the trend, MMA veteran Andrew Tate also decided to add to the donation amount.

Andrew Tate adds $500,000 to Joe Rogan’s challenge
Rogan’s recent conversation with Kennedy Jr. lit up Twitter. The duo was strictly against vaccination. But this wasn’t accepted well by the vaccine development expert, Dr. Peter Hortez. He tweeted that Rogan and RFK were spreading false information. Thereafter, the 55-year-old podcaster offered to donate $100,000 to a charity of Dr. Hotez’s choice if he was willing to have a debate with Kennedy Jr. and come to a conclusion.
I’ll add 500k.
But I also want to state a lot of the nerds who are anti vax now we’re total Covid pussies at the start. A lot of them even took the vaccine.

Soon after, Bill Ackman and Nicholas Mugali joined in the conversation and agreed to donate $150,000 and $500,000, respectively. Now, Andrew Tate has also declared that he would add to the amount and increase the stakes by $500,000.
He replied to the tweets and declared his offer. However, he was also quick to take a jab at people who had their feet in each boat. He wrote, “I’ll add 500k. But I also want to state a lot of the nerds who are anti-vax now we’re total Covid pussies at the start. A lot of them even took the vaccine.”
Mark Cuban accuses Joe Rogan of bullying
After Rogan declared his offer, Dr. Hotez tweeted to have a private discussion about it. Thereafter, Elon Musk also tweeted about the stance of the scientist and claimed that he was afraid because he knew he was wrong.

Way to talk in generalities Joe. Not saying there aren't a lot of fucked up things about pharma. That's why we created https://t.co/jYSNkP7amr. But to ignore that the same industry has saved who knows how many lives is bullshit and you know it.
It's also disrespectful to all… https://t.co/bUawoBgbH6— Mark Cuban (@mcuban) June 18, 2023
But Dr. Hotez found an ally in Billionaire businessman, Mark Cuban who swooped in to support the scientist. He dissed Rogan and Kennedy Jr. for bullying Dr Hotez. He argued that both Rogan and Kennedy Jr. had people who can prepare them for the debate. Furthermore, he pointed out that Rogan and Kennedy Jr. talked about similar stuff on a daily basis, which seemingly put the vaccination expert on a throne of disadvantage.
