In the recent episode of ‘The Schaub Show’, Schaub featured the former UFC contender and Hall of Famer, Chael Sonnen, and did a one-on-one with him. Although the duo talked about various topics, they couldn’t steer clear from talking about ‘The Notorious’ going against ‘Iron’.
The former mixed martial artist commended the UFC for being smart with the fight. Schaub said, “But with Conor, they were smart because they never, they, they announced it, but they, there’s no date. There is no official announcement.”
“And I think that’s the brilliant game planning of the UFC brass going ‘let’s announce it but leave it open’. Let’s leave it up because to a point if we do give a date, the commission’s income sniffing around. That’s why they did it. It’s brilliant. I think the fight happens.”
However, there is also a huge roadblock that could deter McGregor vs Chandler from taking place.
McGregor’s concerns regarding USADA
Apart from the unknown date and venue, fans are also left oblivious to the Irishman’s USADA tests. Nevertheless, the UFC simply cannot steer away from announcing the dates soon enough.

Dana White recently declared that McGregor was in a meeting with USADA, and claimed that he would get under the pool any day. He said, “I know there was a big meeting with them. I want to say it was last week. Yeah, last week and Conor [McGregor] is going into the USADA pool any day. So, we’ll just wait and see how that plays out.”
Thus, people are excited to know whether or not ‘Mystic Mac’ has entered the testing pool. A delay in doing so would only add further lag.
