After suffering from a severe case of strep throat, the legendary BJJ practitioner, Gordon Ryan, seemingly decided to give the ancient medicine a shot. Ryan had also faced tremendous scrutiny from the public for his depleting muscles following the antibiotics for his Streptococcus infection. However, he seemed to take the support of laughter and rise up once again.
He recently went to spend a night at Joe Rogan?s comedy club, ?The Comedy Mothership?. Recently, the five-time ADCC champion took to Instagram and shared a picture where he posed with the star comedian, Tony Hinchcliffe, and the famed UFC commentator at his comedy club. He further wished Hinchcliffe on his 47th birthday.

Ryan recently contracted one of the deadliest diseases known to mankind. He got infected with a strain of Streptococcus. The BJJ fighter kept the fans updated about his condition through social media. Thankfully, Ryan recovered well. He recently promised the world that he would be back to his former physique soon enough. However, medications and exercise are sometimes not enough for a complete recovery. Hence, he decided to pay the Comedy Mothership a visit. Undeniably, Ryan claimed to have had one of the funniest nights at the club.

Ryan thanked Rogan and Hinchcliffe for the fun and splits. He wrote in the caption, “Thank you to @tonyhinchcliffe and @joerogan for the funniest night of all time.” Furthermore, he wished Hinchcliffe a happy birthday. He added, ?Also, happy 47th birthday to Tony. I’ve never met someone who looks as good as him at 47.?
The BJJ star resembled nothing like his original self. Weakened by the disease, he looked frail in comparison to his earlier muscular body.

As soon as Rogan announced the opening of the comedy club, the world’s excitement began skyrocketing. The tickets began selling out as soon as they got out for sale. Amongst the praises for the club, one of the voices belonged to Ryan.
Ryan wrote in an Instagram post, ?I want to give a huge congratulations to my dear friend, @joerogan, on the opening of his new comedy store, @comedymothership.?
