Power Slap also saw an increase in viewership from its debut episode, with an average of 413,000 viewers, a 40% increase from the previous week, and a 0.13 rating in the 18-49 demographic, a 30% increase.

AEW Dynamite also performed well, drawing over 1 million viewers for the first time since October 5th, 2022. The show averaged 1.003 million viewers, a 3.5% increase from the previous week, with a 0.32 rating in the 18-49 demographic. The program ranked #3 for the night on cable, behind two NBA games, according to Showbuzz Daily.

Thus, the masses look open to the new sport.

White vows for a safer Power Slap League

Dana White, the creator of the Power Slap League, has vowed to make the sport safer for competitors in the future. In a series of Instagram interactions, White stated the league will be much safer going forward. In addition, a neurologist also gave his opinion about the slap sport.
