UFC light heavyweight Anthony Smith and Michael Bisping have clearly built a camaraderie over the past few years, especially owing to their collaboration on the latter’s podcast on YouTube. The duo usually talk about a host of topics that includes the fight world and stuff beyond it as well. In one such fresh episode of the podcast, they happened to cover an intriguing episode from Smith‘s life; which involved him losing his dog to certain ‘dog-nappers’. This story was incidentally brought to light after Smith learned of a similar incident involving singer and songwriter Lady Gaga.
Interestingly, Gaga is in the news after getting sued by a woman sentenced in connection to the theft of her dogs. As per reports, the woman claimed that the popstar failed to pay her $500,000, which Gaga had promised for the safe return of her dogs.

Recalling his story, the 34-year-old mentioned that back when he used to live in a ‘sketchy area’; a woman living in the neighborhood once stole his pit bull. Upon his demands to give his dog back, Smith was shocked to learn that the said thief had already taken it out of town to sell it. In desperation, the light heavyweight quickly promised a reward of a thousand dollars if the lady would get his dog back to him.
“I was like you need to call them and tell them I’ll give them a thousand dollars if they bring him back right now.” narrated Smith.

He then revealed that once he got his Pitbull back, he went back on his promise. Hence, turning the entire situation into a mess.
“So they bring him back and I lose my sh** I’m like I’m holding a gun. I take the dog. She wants her money. It was a mess, it was a mess. I welched on my f*****g I’ve welched on it.” stated Smith.
Bisping agreed with ‘Lionheart’s action, claiming he didn’t have to reward since it was his property that he was getting back in the first place.
“Well, of course, that’s your property. You don’t pay to receive your property back. You know, I mean they’re idiots for believing you.” Pointed out Bisping.
This was clearly an interesting piece of story by Anthony Smith. What makes it more intriguing is that such cases take place more often and even a star of Lady Gaga’s stature was not spared from such an experience.
Reports state Lady Gaga getting sued for a similar incident
