In a recent episode of his wildly popular podcast, Joe Rogan brought up a truly unbelievable story that can only be described as crazy. As an individual with vast knowledge across diverse fields, Rogan is known for recounting fascinating tales from all corners of the world. However, this particular story left listeners in awe of the unexpected twists and turns. And one of the many topics that often makes their way in the podcast is the aspect of relationships and marriage.

In the midst of the Achraf HakimiHiba Abouk divorce drama, which has got a lot of attention, the UFC commentator delved into the divorce of the former 7x world boxing champion, Shane Mosley. Mosley married his wife Jin in 2002, but after almost a decade together, the two decided to part ways in 2011. The divorce settlement of the boxing legend, as recounted by 55-year-old Joe Rogan on his podcast, was unlike any other that one may have heard of.

During episode #1971, the UFC commentator sat down with fellow comedian and television producer Howie Mandel. The two stumbled upon the subject of divorce, and Rogan recounted the story of Shane Mosley‘s divorce from 2011, where his wife Jin Mosley took away his most prestigious belongings.

As Rogan put it, “Sugar Shane Mosley, the boxer, his ex-wife took one of his championship belts… You know  how goddamn crazy that story is?”

He continued to paint the picture of the situation, “That guy went to war with his hands. He was throwing knuckles and another skilled man and won a world title. Got this beautiful belt strapped, the whole crowd cheers and she[his wife] is like, ‘No. It’s mine.’ She took it.”

According to TMZ, Mosley was in fact forced to give his ex-wife three of his championship belts. The report stated that Jin “shall maintain custody and control of three championship belts for each of the respective parties’ three minor children”. Furthemore, each of the three kids would get a belt when they turn 18.
