As the conversation progressed, an article caught Rogan’s attention. The article from The Guardian talked about Keith Richards’ decision to stop drinking. However, it doesn’t mean that he gave up drinking alcohol altogether, just “almost.” Rogan was unable to believe that the legendary guitarist, who is well known for his high and eccentric attitude, had stopped drinking. Richards was unimaginably popular among the youth of the 1960s and 70s.
While talking about Richards, it’s hard for anyone not to talk about his partner, Mick Jagger. The two began as partners in songwriting for the English rock band, The Rolling Stones. Furthermore, Rogan shared a very exciting memory he has of the rock era stars.

He detailed the mesmerizing experience of meeting them both in Austin. Rogan said, “Ooh I saw them and it was almost like someone psychedelic experience. I was like, mesmerized when I saw, I couldn’t believe. They were really there. I was like, holy sh*t, that really is Mick Jagger. There really is Keith Richards like wow.”

Rogan excitedly shared the memory of watching them create music wonders with their band for six decades. According to them, the band was just like wine, getting richer with time. During the conversation with Long, Rogan further stated how they are able to keep up their energy even after such long music careers. Rogan added, “It’s f**king crazy. To watch them. That old and still jamming out?” The UFC commentator is undoubtedly a huge fan of both songwriters; he remarked that they are way too cool for their age, and that’s perfect.
