Joe Rogan was in trouble just a while ago. ‘The Joe Rogan Experience’ was in deep waters because of the subjects discussed with guests. While things seem better now, Rogan isn’t really off the hook yet. American actor Faizon Love recently commented on one of Rogan’s controversies.

Love, who has been a part of movies like ‘Friday’, ‘Blue Crush’ and ‘Zookeeper’, shared his thoughts on the famous Spotify podcaster. Referring to Rogan reportedly using some slur words, Love said, “He basically called us a bunch of monkeys. Like you think, you think Will Smith should go slap him?”
The actor then started laughing. However, he also explained how the entire issue with the slur started and the consequences that are being faced currently. Thus, he did not condemn Joe Rogan for using certain words. Instead, he tried to look beyond what was said and explained what could have led to it.
While doing so, he also gave some examples that he could think of. He and the interviewer also discussed how other artists might have a different opinion than Love.

Rogan’s name had also cropped up when Will Smith had slapped Chris Rock at the Oscars. The ‘Breaking Bad’ actor, Dean Norris, had famously stated that he wanted Rogan to be in Rock’s place. Many fans began trying to decipher what exactly the actor meant by that. After all, UFC fans are aware that the commentator is a trained fighter.

Joe Rogan remains a polarizing figure. While he has a huge fanbase, there are many who have opposed the topic he has discussed previously. Spotify as a platform too had come under the fire. However, it does not look like the controversies have affected his reach.
As per an article by ‘Hollywood Reporter‘, the podcaster saw a massive boost in his subscribers because of the controversies he got entangled in. Rogan claimed to have gotten two million subscribers because of the situation. However, the article mentioned that Rogan’s podcast has seen subscribers grow consistently and not because of the controversy.
