The much-anticipated UFC 303 event has now concluded, and it ended with a bang. However, UFC CEO Dana White is also focused on his upcoming Noche UFC 306 event in Las Vegas, Sphere. In the recently concluded UFC 303 post-fight press conference, he shared the details of the team working behind it.

The UFC head honcho has already spent around $17 Million for the event to be scheduled for September 14. However, it seems he has now set up a team to make the event even more successful. Let us take a look at the details shared by the 54-year-old.

Dana White has high hopes for the UFC 306 event in Sphere

While speaking at the UFC 303 post-fight press conference, White gave out the behind-the-scenes details of his team. He said, “Normally when we do a fight, we have a truck. There’s gonna be 4 trucks for this event. And we have assembled like literally the most rockstar team on the planet. When I officially get you guys in and walk you through what we are doing, I mean the amount of Oscars, Emmys, Grammy’s the list goes on and on the team that we have assembled to pull this thing off. “

Dana White has always been known for working under extreme pressure. Within a matter of weeks time two of his main card fighters withdrew from their fights at the last moment. However, the 54-year-old managed to find their idol replacement and made the UFC 303 event a success. The main event of the night was the return of Conor McGregor but the Dubliner pulled out at the last moment.

Despite his absence the fans turned up in numbers and made the event a grand success. During the UFC 303 post-fight press conference Dana White took out time to thank the fans. He also pointed out the reason for the fans coming out and witnessing the event even when McGregor was absent from the Octagon.

Dana White credits the fans for turning up in numbers for UFC 303 event

According to a report shared by Ged I. Goodman on X the announced gate for UFC 303 turned up at $15.9 million. Despite the change in the main event the fans turned up in numbers. UFC CEO Dana White feels its because of the trust the promotion has build over the years. During the post-fight press conference the UFC head honcho said, “Well, I think what happens is we’ve built up this trust level with our fanbase that they know when they show up we’re gonna put on a good show.”

White then went on to confess that there was a 50 percent refund available on the ticket because of the change in main event. However, much to the surprise of the 54-year-old most of the fans chose not to get the refund. He was indeed very happy and pointed out that the fans came in to witness the event and not any superstar. He further added, “They came and came in for international fight week, so yeah, I think it’s a testament to the trust that we have built with our fanbase.” The fans indeed enjoyed the event as some of the fighters put on a show for the fans. Just like most UFC event the latest UFC 303 event also lived up to its expectations and entertained the fans.
