There aren’t many MMA promotions that can go toe-to-toe with the UFC. Dana White has established his promotion as the biggest platform for fighters to showcase their skills to the world. However, PFL founder and CEO Donn Davis believes they do certain things better than the UFC, but White begs to differ.

The PFL garnered much attention after siding with YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul earlier this year. Furthermore, they even signed Francis Ngannou after he left the UFC, which has Donn Davis believing that the PFL might be more lucrative for fighters than the UFC. However, Dana White doesn’t think the same way. Let’s hear what he had to say.

During the recent Contender Series press conference, a reporter asked the 54-year-old about his thoughts on the comments made by Donn Davis regarding the UFC. Dana White, considering the impact his promotion has had on MMA, ridiculed the PFL CEO’s comments. He stated that Davis was being delusional. White said, “Well, there’s one of two things in that. There’s either a lot of delusion or he’s uninformed.”

However, Dana White has no problems with what Donn Davis has to say. He is willing to fire things up, and there will be no hard feelings. “Good for him. Get out there and f***ing, let’s fire it up, whatever. It’s all good.” Moreover, the UFC president also mentioned his feelings for the rival MMA promotion.

There is no “beef” between the UFC and the PFL

Dana White has always kept it simple when it comes to the PFL. He claims to have no problems with his rival promotion. They are both working to take MMA to another level. White said, “I have said this before about the PFL. I have no beef with those guys.” Similarly, the 54-year-old also said that the executives in the PFL have always worked as great professionals when it comes to contributing to the sport of MMA.

“Those guys have always been stand-up guys and have always been classy when it comes to the business,” said Dana White. He understands that his rivals are here to compete with the UFC, and there’s nothing wrong with that. He further added, “These guys are in this to compete with us, and I respect that.”

Moreover, their association with Jake Paul and Francis Ngannou has boosted their status as a legitimate alternative for MMA fighters.
