What if some of the ‘baddest’ UFC stars were to gather under one roof? That’s a sight that any MMA fan will enjoy, for sure. The Monster Drink pulled off one such marvel as it called on the likes of Alex Pereira and Justin Gaethje for its new promotion. As expected, the visuals instantly became a hit among the fans.

There are a few memorable sports business partnerships that come to mind, such as Nike and Michael Jordan. But there are none that come close to the celebrated partnership the UFC shares with Monster Energy. The relationship that started in 2015 is still going strong despite the recent introduction of Prime. The ‘official water of the UFC’ continues to add to its strength, and its latest behind-the-scenes visuals sent the fans into a frenzy.

In the video, shared by Hans Molenkamp, the fans can witness Marlon Vera smiling as the camera rolls by BMF title holder Justin Gaethje. Following this, the fans catch a glimpse of Sean Strickland. They can also spot two compatriots, Alex Pereira and Gilbert Burns, engaged in a passionate chat.

Commenting on the post, Burns responded with fire emojis. On the other hand, UFC fighter Dan Ige replied, “nice killers“.

Some comments focused on ‘The Tarzan’, as the American fighter appeared unfazed by the presence of a camera. Notably, he will face Israel Adesanya for the middleweight strap at UFC 293.

  • “Sean always talking about the same thing”
  • “Strickland is American as can be”
  • “Everyone stopped talking when they noticed you filming except for Sean. lol”
  • “You got that especially that Strickland guy… Future champ”

A couple of responses focused on two Brazilians.

  • “Gilbert just look like the nicest dude ever”
  • “Alex talkin with Gilbert, he helps him with some grappling defense khamzat is smoked”

Lastly, the fans praised the roster of UFC they witnessed in the clip.

  • “All the dopest fighters in one room lol”
  • “Solid staff solid crew bunch of straight up ganstas you guys in Boston?”
  • “All of them smiling bright for that monster energy sponser”

However, there appears to be a major name missing, Israel Adesanya. The middleweight champion has made his dislike for Monster known on multiple occasions. Further, he has even thrown a Monster Energy can off the table.

Notably, Monster Energy signed a new contract with the UFC in 2021. This renewed their global partnership until 2024. However, it remains to be seen how the Prime will influence their relationship or whether it can affect their strong partnership at all.
