Conor McGregor’s journey back to the octagon is taking longer than anyone could have imagined. Earlier this year, UFC President Dana White announced the return of ‘The Notorious’ against Michael Chandler. However, months have passed by, and fans are still waiting for the official confirmation of this fight.

To add to McGregor’s problems, there has been no news of the Irishman entering the USADA testing pool. This clearly means that McGregor cannot compete in the octagon anytime soon. Still, there are strong rumors of UFC’s first double champ coming back at UFC 296 on December 16th. Recently, McGregor took to Twitter to hint at returning to a new weight category. However, his statement did not go well with the fans.
