Charles Oliveira made a triumphant return to UFC 289. Meanwhile, a few days back, he got into a back-and-forth with Conor McGregor on social media. Now, ‘Do Bronx’ has addressed that incident and even called ‘The Notorious’ out for a fight at any weight category he desires to compete in.

The beef between McGregor and Oliveira started when the former shared a tweet claiming the fighting motivates him. However, ‘Do Bronx’ replied to the former double champion by claiming that it’s been over two years and still hasn’t found the motivation yet. ‘The Notorious’ was quick to reply to this dig and called Oliveira a ‘nobody’ and took shots at his profile picture on X, asking him to get off his Lamborghini. It seems as if the Brazilian is eager to fight the Irishman now.

In a recent appearance on ‘The MMA Hour’, Oliveira addressed his social media altercation with ‘The Notorious’. He mentioned that there has been no follow-up from McGregor’s side after their verbal spat on X. Moreover, he is just waiting for a response from him. Oliveira said, “What’s happening is that I’m here. I am just waiting for him.”

‘Do Bronx’ mentioned that Conor McGregor doesn’t need to do much, but just talk to him about the fight. He is ready and willing to fight the former UFC double champion whenever he is ready for it. Oliveira added, “All he needs to do is tell me the place and the time and then I’ll be there.” Furthermore, ‘Do Bronx’ is ready for the showdown at any weight class.

‘Do Bronx’ is ready to fight ‘The Notorious’ at middleweight

Ariel Helwani asked Charles Oliveira if Conor McGregor was really down to fight him in the not-so-distant future. Moreover, he asked him about the possibility of him fighting the UFC’s biggest draw before he retires. Oliveira believes that McGregor must be serious about it since he’s talking about it online. He is ready to fight him, but the Irishman hasn’t followed through with his claims on social media. The Brazilian said, “I think so [on McGregor wanting to fight him]. Otherwise, he wouldn’t be talking. I don’t know. I am here. Where’s Conor?”

Conor McGregor has bulked up since his last fight against Dustin Poirier at UFC 264. So it has raised the question regarding the weight class at which he’ll consider fighting after returning to the UFC. However, that doesn’t seem to matter much to ‘Do Bronx’. He is ready to fight him at any weight class. It can be a welterweight or a middleweight clash. Oliveira further added, “170, 183, it doesn’t matter. All he needs to do is talk and do it.”
