Alex Pereira is all set to go up against Jamahal Hill at UFC 300. The big main event may have come off as a surprise to many fans who had been kept on the edges of their seat by UFC CEO Dana White. Now, Pereira has gone full blast ‘Poatan’ mode and fans can’t have enough of him.

The last time he fought was back at UFC 295 when he took on Jiri Prochazka for the vacant light heavyweight title. He defeated the returning fighter via knockout in true ‘Poatan’ fashion and now, Hill will be his first-ever title defense at LHW.

Things have changed for Alex Pereira since then. He recently had to part ways with his long-time girlfriend, Merle Christine. Christine and Pereira’s breakup became an instantly noticeable change in the star’s life and now, he’s often seen sparring and practicing with strawweight sensation Polyana Viana.

In a recent clip that caught Viana’s attention along with the fandom, Pereira can be seen absolutely demolishing a punching bag. His knockout power has been termed the ‘touch of death’ by many spectators online. Now, after his parting of ways with his former partner, fans believe Alex Pereira is more dangerous than ever before.

In the clip alone, he punches the bag so hard that it rips open and its contents start falling out and onto the floor. Many believe that Hill will have trouble going up against an angry Pereira who has just dealt with a difficult breakup.
