Jessica Andrade has a lot of tattoos on her body. However, some of the most striking ones are what she refers to as the ‘angry tattoos’. She made two of those tattoos on her forearms. Firstly, the one on her left forearm is a tattoo of a tiger, which often signifies strength, although there are a variety of other meanings behind it for various individuals. The tattoo Andrade has on her right forearm, which she claims to be an angry one is a tattoo of the ‘Dragonball‘ anime series’s protagonist, ‘Goku‘, who is known for exceeding his physical and mental limits.

Furthermore, the bottom portion of ‘Bate Estaca’s left forearm is covered with the tattoo of a rose, which stands for love and affection towards familiar and unfamiliar people. Another important forearm tattoo is the words ‘PRVT’, which is her MMA team that she continues to train with, to this day, Parana Vale Tudo. Now let’s take a look at those tattoos that signify her Brazilian culture.

Tattoos with cultural significance

Brazilians are big on their culture. That is why most UFC fighters are well-versed in their own martial arts, jiu-jitsu. Moreover, they also have tattoos inked on their bodies that show how much their roots mean to them, and Jessica Andrade is no stranger to that. She has a couple of standout tattoos, with the first one being a tribal design on her right arm.

Another tattoo of cultural significance is the tattoo of a woman wearing a war bonnet, which Jessica Andrade told ‘MMA Fighting‘ during an interview, makes her feel ready to go to war. She has worn a war bonnet on multiple occasions while walking out to the Octagon. All the tattoos that she has on her body have deep meaning and talk a lot about the personality the former champion has.
