Khamzat Chimaev has become one of the best UFC fighters as of late. The budding superstar joined the promotion in 202 and since then he’s racked up six wins without any losses. Moreover, recent reports suggest that Chimaev has signed a new contract with the promotion. There are speculations about the money he’ll make in his new contract after his recent assessment of seven fights.

Khamzat Chimaev is gearing up for his next fight this weekend against Kamaru Usman at UFC 294. Before the fight this weekend, he agreed to a new deal with the MMA giants. Let us take a look at his new contract.

‘Borz’ is undeniably one of the biggest stars in the UFC right now. People love the way he fights, manhandling and rag-dolling his opponents at will. It has earned him a large fan base. As such, according to ESPN’s Brett Okamoto, the UFC re-signed him to a new deal just days before his fight in Abu Dhabi against former champion Kamaru Usman.

However, the details regarding Chimaev’s new contract are not yet disclosed. But fans can believe that he will not be leaving the UFC anytime soon. He had only two fights left in his previous contract before Dana White and Co. offered him a new contract. Even though the details of his contract are unknown, his recent comments about seven fights may have given us an idea of how much his contract is worth.

‘Borz’ believes he can make over $20 million in seven fights

Nina Marie Daniele interviewed Khamzat Chimaev and presented a list of names from the middleweight division. The names included Sean Strickland, Israel Adesanya, and Bo Nickal, among four others. While he claimed to be able to defeat all seven fighters, Chimaev also made a rough assessment of how much he could make from all of those fights combined.

Khamzat Chimaev said, “[There’s] so much money. Imagine I fight all these guys. Crazy!” He then added that all of these fights can help him make over $20 million“Seven fights… It’s almost $20 million. 20 more than $20 million,” the Emirati fighter added. This has led to speculations that he might be earning $3 million per fight as per his new deal.

Regardless of the amount of money Khamzat Chimaev said he could make out of these seven fights, we still do not have any concrete details about his new contract. However, it may not come as a surprise since he is one of the most valuable fighters in the UFC right now. We will have to wait until any further details come out regarding his new UFC deal.
