In their quest to stay informed, fans were eagerly anticipating a statement from ‘The Great’. They wanted Volkanovski to come as soon as possible. A YouTube video resurfaced another video which featured an injured yet delighted Volkanovski, who had quite a crucial statement to convey.

While getting his video streamed in TheMacLife YouTube channel, the featherweight champion disclosed that the surgery he had was successful. The champ seemed excited to convey the positive through the video. On a car ride, the Australian had to convey to his fans as he said,

“Okay, Surgery Done,” (Talking to his friend, he said), “Benzie, how are you, mate? Benzie was wearing a hairnet, while I was getting a surgery.” 

Without a doubt, Volkanovski is a good influence in the MMA community. He has demonstrated incredible fortitude and tenacity throughout his career. With such a significant update on him, Volkanovski wasted no time in addressing his supporters. During his follow-up on his triumphant surgery, he appeared relieved.

‘The Great’ ensures about his return

When the news of the operation was made public, Volkanovski apologized as he didn’t mean to scare anyone with the statement, but also guaranteed that he intended to return as soon as possible. Additionally, he has stated in the past that he was prepared to fight even with a broken thumb. He said, “You don’t need to stress about that, I will be trained , I want to be active. I will be back in there before most of the other guys, anyway”.

After the bout against Rodriguez, ‘The Great’ aggressively confronted Ilia Topuria, declaring his intention to end Topuria’s winning streak.  The fans are quarreling with anticipation because it’s rumored that Volkanovski is anxious to return so he can fight none other than Islam Makhachev at UFC 294.
