His wholesome social media videos suggest that he probably is in a relationship with Merle. ‘Poatan’s loved one also has a combat sports background. Merle’s Instagram story initially showcased the 2022 snap of the UFC Middleweight champion, Israel Adesanya, Welterweight champion, Kamaru Usman, and Heavyweight champion, Francis Ngannou, standing together with their championships.

But Merle decided to present the updated photo of the UFC champions. Two of the championships had already changed hands and the Heavyweight championship was already vacated. It’s pertinent to note that the UFC has put their Heavyweight championship on the line for a Jon Jones vs Cyril Gane bout, scheduled for UFC 285 on 4 March.

The final portion of her story showcased an updated, or rather futuristic, snap. All the UFC titles were seen at the hands of their new owners. Merle’s story showcased Alex Pereira‘s head morphed into Israel Adesanya‘s photo. Which made ‘Poatan’ appear as the Middleweight Champion. Similarly, Kamaru Usman‘s head was also overlapped by a snap of the head of Leon ‘Rocky’ Edwards, thereby updating the Welterweight Championship image in the snap.

Merle also turned mystic regarding the UFC Heavyweight Championship

Till now, we could term the morphing of the photo as efficient; since it portrayed updated photos of the UFC Championships with their rightful owners. But Merle’s shared snap also exhibited the head of the coveted Jon ‘Bones’ Jones in place of Francis Ngannou, portraying him as the Heavyweight Champion.
