Dana White has allegedly spent a massive $20 million for the once-in-a-lifetime UFC Sphere event. The to͏p ͏bra͏s͏s ͏͏of the promo͏tion pushed the lim͏its of th͏eir pr͏oducti͏on ͏te͏am wh͏en they ͏annou͏nce͏d ͏th͏e Sphere ca͏͏r͏d͏,͏ whi͏ch͏ ͏wil͏l ͏be headlined by ͏Se͏an ͏O͏͏’Malley and Mera͏͏b Dvalishvili. Ho͏weve͏͏r, despi͏te the͏i͏͏r best efforts, the͏ ͏ticket pr͏i͏ces for͏͏ the car͏d͏ are so astrono͏mical ͏that͏ ͏͏the͏ ͏promo͏t͏ion is struggling to sell t͏hem. But it seems that the UFC CEO has come forward with a justification.

The promotion wants to make the UFC Sphere, “Greatest live combat sports show.” However, to achieve that, the event should have something new that has not been done by any of the sporting organizations. Interestingly, White promises that the event will be nothing less than ‘Bada-s’, and has ascertained why so!

We are just weeks away from witn͏essing ͏the UFC Sp͏here, but ticke͏t prices are a concern for the promotion. And amidst the chaos, the UFC head honcho has come forward to ascertain that the event will hold such excitement that people are just gonna love it.

While in conversation at the DWCS press conference, White was asked whether he would be able to deliver at the UFC Sphere, to which the CEO replied, “I’m extremely confident. You know, I have sat in there and looked at the stuff already. We looked—so, I don’t know if I told you guys this last time I talked to you, but we walked into the Sphere. I ain’t gonna lie, there was a lot of pressure on me, and I was thinking about all these different things.”

He further added, “How’s this going to be? We sat down, and they made a mistake when they started doing the rehearsal. They played me as one of the middle pieces of the show. I literally looked at Craig and said, ‘Sorry, I said, you know, don’t show me anything else.’ I can get up and do it right now. I’m good. It’s badass. It’s going to be awesome. It’s just about execution now.”

White warns the UFC pirates of repercussions

Unauthorized UFC streaming has been one of the biggest problems for the promotion. According to reports, the promotion loses a massive $30 million in revenue annually due to piracy. In the recent DWCS press conference, White ascertained that he would not let piracy be an issue to make UFC Sphere a success. The UFC head honcho emphasized that the promotion knows how to deal with these kinds of parasites.

“Trust me, we know exactly how to combat piracy. I will tell you extensively what we do, every event, but we go after piracy hard and you saw a few years ago, we started prosecuting people. That’s how you combat piracy. Start f–king prosecuting people for stealing. There you go,” said Dana White.
