The Spotify podcast host shared an image of an article from the Washington Post. He also wrote a caption ‘Here we go’ suggesting movies like Matrix, Terminator, and more could become our reality. This is the very thing that has scared Musk, who on multiple occasions shared his concern about the growing shift towards giving birth to AI.

Musk stands firmly against enabling AI to take its own form, as he believes the unhinged technology can turn against humanity. He believes AI is not necessarily bad, but it will soon become difficult to tame it. He knows it quite well that technology is humanity’s natural next step, but he is also sacred of its immense potential.

Elon Musk detailed his trepidation towards AI with Joe Rogan
During his appearance on Joe Rogan Experience, the veteran comedian brought up this topic to understand Musk’s perspective. The SpaceX founder stated that modern-day companies are essentially a cybernetic collective. The way it operates, and the way it exists & grows is a close example of AI would work. But his worst fears involve, becoming a minority in face of AI.

Musk said,” It feels like we are, a biological boot loader for AI effectively. We are building it, and then we are building progressively greater intelligence. The percentage of intelligence that is not human is increasing. And eventually, we will represent a very small percentage of intelligence.”
