The return of Conor McGregor has gained a lot of traction over the last few days with the news of him getting back in the USADA pool. Confirmed by McGregor, USADA, and UFC president Dana White, this news takes us one step closer to watching ‘The Notorious’ make his famous walkout again. In a recent interview, White reiterated the same with some new information as he discussed McGregor’s return and his potential fight against Michael Chandler.

Dana White was recently on ‘The Pat McAfee Show’ where he discussed the new season of Power Slap and the future of Rumble Sports. During their conversation, McAfee also asked about the return of Conor McGregor and the USADA situation.

McAfee wanted to know how things were progressing as ‘The Ultimate Fighter’ featuring Chandler and McGregor was airing in a few days. The UFC head honcho was happy to answer McAfee with some new updates on the Conor McGregor-USADA saga.

Dana White’s update on Conor McGregor-USADA situation

The latest reports said that Conor McGregor, and USADA have resolved their differences. Both McGregor and USADA confirmed the same via separate statements. UFC President Dana White also confirmed it later, adding that the fight announcement for McGregor vs. Chandler would come during ‘The Ultimate Fighter’ premiere.

On The Pat McAfee Show, White gave another update. He said, “That’s the big when, what, how, and all that sh*t with USADA. When is he getting into the pool… “

He continued, “I know there was a big meeting with them. I want to say it was last week. Yeah, last week and Conor [McGregor] is going into the USADA pool any day. So, we’ll just wait and see how that plays out.”

Conor McGregor and USADA got into a public standoff a few months ago after the US Anti-Doping Agency declined to grant special consideration for McGregor. The Irishman went after them publicly for not wanting to spend six months in the testing pool before being cleared to compete. It seems like USADA got the upper hand in the conflict as McGregor will enter the testing pool for six months. He will also have t submit two clean testing samples before being cleared to compete.

Taking the time frame into consideration, McGregor vs. Chandler could go down at the end of the year. White confirmed the same during a recent public appearance.
